Lindey still at Pit 1, Lasher is good to go, re jetted and hauling balls. he is gaining on the 1903 and the 1009 both who are at 0mph on the course.......the 1919 has passed the 1947 for the lead.....
Sure looks like a rough day for the UTV class. It just makes me wonder how many things can go wrong for Yamaha. You'd think they would have that car figured out. I think the 1903 is the old Fabtech car.
Update is Lasher is at Pit 2 performing a Fuel Pump swap....He is now out of Pit 2 and is about 40miles behind the 1919 who is the leader. Mike sits in 5th position on the course
1902 RM 368 Pit 1 Yamaha Rhino (0mph for a while now)
as for Lasher, he did not have a fuel problem yesterday he had an oil problem, thinks he had too much oil in the motor? It ended up having a bottom end power issue which then endeded up in seizing the motor.......
"they changed the carb. not the fuel pump, the rest of the car is doing well, no issues, but Matt said the engine still isn't running well, driver change at pit 3 and more engine work/trouble shooting, Larry the engine guy is in the MH planning the next test/fix/swap"
as of 10:20 they are up and runinng aprroaching RM 420

I spoke to them just after Mike got out of the 1924 at Pit 3 before handing it over to Wally World! Mike said they changed out the Fuel Pump and the Carb as well as all the fuel lines......car is running great!! Other than motor complications the car has worked awesome!
"Wally 1 mile out of pit 4, car running well. Talked to Mike driver change around pit 6, engine still has a miss, but not getting any worse. Trophy trucks going by car at twice the MPH."
"1:55PM
Car 26 miles from pit 5, running good, Mike and his co-driver planning on taking over the helm at pit 6. Wally passed the 500 mile mark a a few miles back so half the race is in the bag. Only 180 miles left for today's leg. 180 miles divided by 30MPH average = 6 hours to go. 2PM + 6 hours = 8PM at the finish line. OK, now they got to bed last night/this morning at midnight up at 4am. 4 hours of sleep and 4am to 8pm = a 16 hour race day, Manley men!!"
Sappington did head work yesterday on his motor. Had problems again today, limped the car into pit one with no water in it and performed a full motor swap today.....
