Just thought i'd share the results of a 700 Rhino I just finished.
Took it out to Ocotillo Wells this morning to do some testing with the customer and check some EFI mapping in the real world.
The Rhino is a 2 seat SDR built Rhino 700 with the usuals, 2 seat cage with aluminum roof, seats, bumper, doors, wheels and tires, long travel, etc.
It came to me with an MSD Charge FI, Muzzy duals, an AFE intake, and a BRP sheave kit.
On map#4, it topped out at 48 mph, indicated on the stock dash.
It got an 11:1 stock bore CP piston, Web Cam and rockers, Benchmark mild port job, +1mm valves, 5 angle valve job, and valve spring/retainers. Benchmark clutch tuning, and still using the stock throttle body, nothing exotic here.
After sorting out the mapping, with both of us in the Rhino, plus a laptop and an Autronic air/fuel ratio meter, it did 67 mph indicated down San Felipe Wash and Shell Reef road. It was pretty impressive, and the best part is how hard it pulls from about 55 mph to 65 mph, like a cheetah!
Not bad I think.
Sorry, no pics or video.
