JaggedX RZR XP900 BITD race car build thread...

Sorry if I ask something proprietary. :o

Mike, are you the 'Mike' from BBQ's ULTD? Same name?

What Axles and CV's are you running?

How much trouble is it going to be putting a fire wall between the fuel cell and the seats. Simple Dzus fastened aluminum?

Are you going to run a spare with the new tire set up?

Are you going to run tire balls?

What steering rack are you running?

Are you going to run a steering quickener?

What is the weight of LY's rock crawler BITD champ?

Questimate on the RZR XP weight?

Thanks...I am very curious as we are pushing UTV's past 5/1600 speeds, into Trophy Lite territory and maybe soon in to 1/2 1600 speeds. Just inquiring into some of your thoughts. Thanks for the candor! I love seeing this class progress! :)

No, Mike West...aka "co dawg" (and many far less flattering nicknames:D)

What Axles and CV's are you running?
Errrrr...ummmmm...stock CV's for sure.;)

No issues, it's already drawn up...probably bolted in place. We are definately hyper-sensitive when it comes to fire safety at this point.

Are you going to run a spare with the new tire set up?
Definately

Are you going to run tire balls?
No

What steering rack are you running?
See below...perfect answer.

Are you going to run a steering quickener?
No

What is the weight of LY's rock crawler BITD champ?
I believe about 1460...if memory serves me correct.

Questimate on the RZR XP weight?
Hopefully about the same.

I agree, I think this year will help add some serious legitimacy to the class.:)

Exactly.

Awesome honesty Mike and thanks (except for the axles and CV's...hahaha)

Looking forward to seeing the progress!

Weld...weld...weld! :)

Glad you decided to share the pictures. One bad @$$ race machine. Makes me wish I had the time and resources to build a machine half as good. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to follow how it performs.

Whatever you do, don't stop building. The SS is coming and we are all anxious to see it run. What is the problem now, you narrowed the hood and you are not going to have enough wind resistance? Come on guys, let them build the car already.

I really like the fact that the car is narrow and keeps the weight in the middle. My biggest frustration with my Teryx is how wide it is. Great job keeping it narrow.

looks good guys i still dont see the "eyelet " to attach my tow strap to on the back so i can feel like a fishing lure

i heard they are going to have to come to stop again.

More like slow down! but really not too much. Timing should be about right to get a few outsource things done right about this time. So it really shouldn't change the final outcome much. ( I hope) Still a bunch uf stuff to do.

Sounds to me like they are expanding their pit crew...... congratulations...haven't you learned what causes that yet? :D

You think 30" tires are an advantage...how about a nine pound co-driver? Strap that baby seat in there and it is game on! :D

But seriously, congrats on the baby on the way.

I've been trying to tell Brandon that removing me and putting my 3 yo. in there would make the car way faster...pretty sure the "radio chatter" would drive him nuts though, as my 3 yo. NEVER stops talking.

Well, I'd like to start by letting everyone know that Justin and Lindsey had a bouncing baby boy a little while ago...so huge congrats to them!!!

I am assuming they named it 'Matt' after their UTV racing hero. Yes/No? :p
