Probably a safe bet. The Yamaha is underpowered and over geared, only way to make that work is a short tire.Lets Make a Bet. Im saying the Yamaha needs Skats and probably about 26 tire and 7 or 8 paddle for its best performance and lets see what the guys cars do with STU tires.
Be careful isn't this the same line of crap that got you ejected from rzrforums?

Dude you are off the deep end. Maybe consider medication or a stiff drink. I have no love for FJK but Fullerton does not own the forum.By the Way this forum is not run by that Douche Bag FJK. and FJK cant protect Fullerton and Daves line of bullshit over hear. Fullerton owns the Rzr Forum and Spews there one side lies over there with no real objection for the truth or you have that old Homo FJK read your PMs and then ban you for having a private conversation when contacted by another member. Anyone who doesnt go along with all the BS over there gets nasty little PMs from FJK. He snoops on all of the PMs over there as he is a freak. Please take your RZR forum shit back over there would ya. And Blow FJK on his cake decorator builds. LMFAO.
Its gonna be funny as hell when this season hits and people start making Sand tire choices. I know there will be a lot of tire switching on that yamaha. I know what will work just by listening to people who drove it up Olds and said if they didnt hit the Shift point just right it wouldnt pull over 7k and thats on a short light knobby dirt tire that is actually not running on the top of the tire but down deeper so the tire acts shorter. So a heavy tire is gonna kill the power band and shift points. and if they buy an aggressive paddle it will hold back the Rpm also. There is no heel clicker or Dalton clutch kits to bandage the problem by trying to get some rpm back. Skat traks dont require a clutch kit to work like them underperforming STUs. Most people see a loss in RPM when they buy those STUs and especially those Patriots there trying to push off on the consumers who have no brains. LOL.Probably a safe bet. I never said stu was the best on everything, I'm only talking the RZR 900 and 1k.

Can't argue with rotating mass but the STUs aren't as heavy as ppl like to think. My comp cut #1 paddle is 20.4# I think the bigger skats are in the upper teens. I don't think 2 or 3# will be noticeable. Before I comp cut they were 25.6# each.Well if bert mega mall wanted to do a comparison with paddles, how they did this comparison. Have them bring a turbo rzr with stock tires and 2 N/A rzr's, one with tims paddle and wheel set up and the other with what ever STU tire and wheel package sell the most there at TMW,SDR and bert's mega mall. See which one will hang with the turbo rzr. Same test they just did see what does better.
STU tires work great they have the height and the floatation to work very well. They are way heavier then tims tire and wheel package but tim just started to get 30" tall tires so he was a little behind. Most big companies wouldn't run his stuff because it was to short and the utv's would bottom out. Rotating mass will always be the winner no matter how you argue it but getting it to perform in all other areas has been a challenge. Pretty sure tim got it on this one.
The new 30/13 weighs 19 lbs according the Warlocks thread.Well if bert mega mall wanted to do a comparison with paddles, how they did this comparison. A lot of shops like the sand car look the get from the STU. But performance minded people learn fast and they get back on Skats. Granted most people are just buying stuff for a look also. The heavy molded tires will never perform the same as a Skat-Trak tire cause if Tim thought he could make a molded tire really work he would have.. You want to see a failed experiment in tires look at the garbage setup called the Patriot stu made up there going to be the slowest combination of tire ever sold we made a similar setup and it sucked. No top end speed and just really no good reason for it. But some retard who doesn't know any better will be sold on them and soon after be dumping them for a tire that works. What's Joey's paddle of choice speaking of this being his place?
I talked to the TMW guys at the Expo this weekend and asked why you see STUs on ALL of their higher end builds. He said they love STU tires and that Skats were great for shooting the hill but STUs dune better. Those aren't my words.....they're his. SDR seems to run STUs pretty much exclusively as well. Two of the biggest names in the industry and they both must be fools for running such shitty tires........
And put a set of comp cut STUs on CMS wheels. The incredible weight saving you constantly harp about is pretty fucking minimal.

Berts would be smart to do some testing of paddles for there yamaha customers because it's going to be a big deal as to what works and what doesn't work.

STUs are not as light as you claim and guess what go ahead and try to run the STU on a non bead lock wheel and see how well that works out for you smart guy. The reason why everyone runs them on a beadlock wheel is it a known fact the STU can't hold a bead very well as its bead seating pressure is about 8 psi which is crazy low. And a Skat-Trak bead seats at 20 psi roughly. So it's very easy to pop the STU off the bead. The new 30/13 weighs 19 lbs according the Warlocks thread.
The huge weight difference between STU and Skat seems to come from people comparing an STU on a Method Beadlock (or similar) and the the new Skat on a CMS Custom. Of course there is going to be a huge difference but the majority of it is in the wheel. Put the STU on a CMS as well and them compare. Yes, the Skats are still lighter but not that much. Comp cut the STU and then weight savings is virtually non existant.
