Get some STU'SWarlock, I'm getting a Turbo XP, and currently have some 28 STU's off my XP 4 1000. I'm getting 8" front, 10" rear Forged non beadlock wheels, I think beadlocks are not needed for these cars. Do you think this would be an ideal setup? My other thought is the new Pro Armor 30" paddles, but they do have 15 paddles.
You sound very knowledgeable. FYI I will run it stock now, but most likely do a Stage 1 ECU tune for 19 more RWP, and run 91 Octane.
Thoughts?
AgreedGet some STU'S

Well if I was you and didn't want to buy new tires I would run what you already have and I would recommend staying away from the pro Armor tires as they are heavy and have a very aggressive Paddle bite. Duner2 is probably the most knowledgeable guy around if you ask him. Lol he has tried one set of paddles his entire SXS days and still has them and knows there the best. Oh boy... Glad to see nothing changes, your still full of it.. And you know I've run skats before, just not my style. The offer is still open to put your $$ where you mouth is unless your still scared.Well if I was you and didn't want to buy new tires I would run what you already have and I would recommend staying away from the pro Armor tires as they are heavy and have a very aggressive Paddle bite. Your still pushing a tire that's not going to work right and you have zero experience to even offer a honest opinion. Rolling mass is a HP killer on these cars and that fact cannot be argued. Yeah the molded heavy Chinese tires will push a car through the sand and they will hold air. Lol. But they lack in performance as the weight of the tire takes extra energy to start heavy tires off and rolling and takes more to stop them. But you are the expert and have vast amounts of experience as you advise people on what works and doesn't work. The Skats you claim to have owned could have been some dudes failed experiment that he sent in to build the ultimate sand tire as I have seen a hundred times and when they find out the hard way that there great idea sucks, they sell them off to some poor guy like you and then your bummed out and become a hater. Oh well or you bought from RMATV and they just build what ever they can buy cheap to make into a paddle tire and usually they are nothing great. So if you don't buy from. The right place who knows what your getting. I have owned and built many tires over the years and have heard from the best tire guys in the Buisness that have been doing this since 1967 and I think they know whats up. Tim can have any tire he wants manufacturered and said why would I waste my money designing and building the mold for a tire that will not be better than a Skat-Trak tire. Can't beat them join them he says so he made the new smooth mold tire for Skat to work with. Skat-Trak has been makin sand tires work since 1967.Oh boy... Just because you keep saying it doesn't make it true. My STU weighs 20# your skat is just a hair less. I still prefer the floatation of the STU for duning, the skat is better for hill shooting. It's all about riding style. First you say I've never owned a set... Then you say my skats were a failed experiment, it's seems there is a latest and greatest skat every 6 months so I'd say all skats on a SxS are a failed experiment. They do keep getting bigger and bigger and wider and wider, closer and closer to a STU so eventually they will get it right. I'm still happy to run them and see who wins. You keep talking but you won't stand behind your bs. Does your God Tim even go to the dunes? Hard to say your selling the best when you don't even test them yourself.Your still pushing a tire that's not going to work right and you have zero experience to even offer a honest opinion. It's obvious your clueless about this stuff and your claims on Skat-Trak. They have been building Skat-Trak tires since 1967 and forgot more about what works and doesn't work. So you like your molded flat carcass tire that has weight and lots of surface area to cause resistance and I'm sure your cars 4wd system likes that small front steer tire. But your probably one of the slow sloppy drivers that thinks it's fast duning in 2wd. 2wd guy cannot keep up and maintain a fast run against a 4wd car. But I'm sure you think otherwise. Just so you know the rear STU is a 88" Rollout and the steer tires are 86" measured at the center point cause they do settle in the sand and Skat-Trak takes that measurement at 15 psi which you don't run but 10 psi I would venture to guess so the Roll out you dune with is less than that. So in 4wd your car will be ill handling and basically be shoving the front tires in a skid for 2" every 7 feet of travel. If you can understand that. These guys have spent more time at the dunes than you will ever see in your lifetime. Seriously Dude they are in the sand tire Buisness. So you show everyone how smart you are, if any one listens to your gibberish I would be surprised.Just because you keep saying it doesn't make it true. One I'm happy to run my 2wd RZR against anything you have. You keep saying I'm slow but you won't go ride so keep talking your look like a fool. Taking short cuts doesn't count, lol. If you really think 2wd is as fast or faster than 4wd your fool. Lol last few guys that said they could drive ended up on there lids and there wives banned them from our rides. So I now know where you will end up. On your lid. Check out the XP in the Dirt wheels video on you tube. That will be you. Or the XP in the latest edition of sand sport magazine on its side with those front rudders called steer tire. Lol.One I'm happy to run my 2wd RZR against anything you have. You keep saying I'm slow but you won't go ride so keep talking your look like a fool. I'm happy to prove what I say.
Two can you name one well know builder that puts skats on their cars? Everyone runs STU, do you think that's a coincidence? You are the only person pushing skats, I believe they have their place and I've owned plenty of them on quads and my mini rail but the RZR performs better on STU hands down.
I'll say it again to be perfectly clear. I'm happy to prove you wrong any time you want to do it. I'm be there the whole week of Halloween, you pick the day. $100 says you can't lose me in the dunes and I'll run 2wd the whole time.
Be careful isn't this the same line of crap that got you ejected from rzrforums?
