well i have been waiting for my cage to break and it finally did during my last dune trip. i bought a cage a few months ago just because i knew i would break it eventually.
so i tore it apart this morning and found some metal shavings on the drain plug magnet. i found pieces of plastic inside the diff. i cleanned up everything and replaced the cage. then put the cover back on and filled it with fluid and reinstalled it.
very easy to to no special tools needed.
i will not get a chance to try it out untill next weekend if i get all of my parts i ordered.
