Jan. 14th-16th 2011

"UTV class will be going bumper to bumper for their share of the $20,000 Soboba Casino purse. 2009 showed to be epic as the utv class had 50+ vehicles at the awesome land rush start! Along side the racing will be pro pits area and vendor row always packed with your favorite foods gear and parts booths."



Well guys it looks like it is official and UTVUnderground.com will be playing an official role with the Soboba GP again!!!! We have been asked to head up the UTV Long Jump Contest along with Magnum Offroad in addition to our industry best UTV race coverage!

To keep everyone informed and to show everyone how awesome the last event was at Soboba I have created a section dedicated entirely to the SOboba GP. Now you can go through and check out all the info and pics from the 2009 event where we launched UTVUnderground into orbit!

I will be sure to keep everyone updated on the latest from Soboba!

As of now it looks like there will be a 6.35mile course!

It's not official yet but Soboba 2010 may not happen. Jacob and his brother are gone at fire camp. I am waiting for the official word today or tomorrow.

Maybe Pala will step and host a large GP. If Pala could put together a purse then the pros would come race it.

This Bumbs me out!! I was looking forward to this race! Hopefully it all works out?

Pala RACEWAY has something in the works for a grand prix style series like never before!!!
Lots of new sponsors to come and there will be seperate classes and purses!!! Keep your eyes and ears open and come out and RACE!!

They have been sifting the rocks out of the dirt the last 2 weeks!!

They took down the UTV track to sift all the rocks out !!

The rocks are part of the natural terrain. The GP tracks are more like a natural trail. Sometimes the fragile shortcourse cars are not the best for the GP tracks. You just have to change your car setup for every race. It's part of racing. Try running a 1000 miles in Mexico, there is no rocks in baja. If the rock is the size of a basketball or smaller we just hit it.

I just spoke with Joe at Pala Raceway. They will be holding a GP to replace this race. I will have more info tomorrow. They are meeting with sponsors on the 19th of January.

Let's vote on a good date.

Last weekend in Feburary???????

We should keep the same date and hope that all the AZ boys and girls will come play on our home feild in SO CAL ..PALA RACEWAY!

#1 MX and OFFROAD FACILITY IN SOCAL.:)
