HiPer Racing Wheels. Questions and comments welcome.

Anytime aluminum or stainless is used for hardware it HAS to be bathed in anti-seaze...So yea....dont sound like your fault or hypers:eek:But whoever assembled them seemed to have their head up their culo:eek:If indeed they are running aluminum hardware I will probably ditch the hardware for steel.

All the wheels we just got a few months ago have the hardware pre-antiseized, so it made assembly really easy and clean. We have been changing tires a few times, with no issues yet, and have pressure washed the car multiple times. When you do take them apart, and go to put them back together, make sure the bolts still have anti seize, or add some more. Another huge plus, is since they are beadlocked on both sides, its really easy to mount and dismount tires. During our last race, we got a rear flat with 2 laps to go, and the car was a little more squirly, but didn't hardly slow me down. I figured it was just low, but the tire had a puncture right in the middle of the tread, and we kept on rolling with a 4th place finish. If we were using another single lock wheel, we would have had to change it out because it would have probably pulled the inner bead, and would have finished last..

They are for sure pricey, but you definitly get what you pay for, and they do require the proper maintenance just like anything else to keep them in tip top shape. (Proper torque and anti-seize)

every boat guy has had this happen pretty much all hardware on the boats is stainless or aluminum. I dont know how many outdrives we had to take to the laser shop to get the broken off stud or bolt off. Those outdrives wern't cheap i hate boats.

I have personally built and taken apart alot of these rims. They HOLD up to the tuffest abuse. Here are some things i do that help

1. Torque to 7LB only
2. Never reuse any of the bolts

Once i started doing the above i have had ZERO ISSUES.
