So you dont have to be a member of UTVRA to reac in SNORE??In talking with SNORE they are mirroring the rules of the UTVRA and BITD but they will be doing their own tech and contingency.

Your absolutly right!!! My last race was the BITD Bluewater classic, I finished both days and ran my RZR as hard as I could and as fast as it would go I had it to the floor most of the race and only got 8th. You also have to consider that most of our races are not that long. Parker 250 is 180 miles Bluewater GP is only 65miles dsesert classic was only 65 miles and the henderson race is only 135 miles. All of these races have large finishing percentages, you have to be fast to win. Dont get me wrong I agree with you. I have been trying to catch the lead pack and finally put some money into my motor and now the lead pack is getting even faster. It is just frustrating when you have been building a car for 3 years to a set of rules and now the rules change. 2 steps forward and 3 steps back!!!Big guy, sir you are right it will be an edge for the guy with a bigger motor. but it has the potential to also be a curse. I think we will find out soon enough, but in my opinion sir, its still not the biggest factor . one half of racing the desert is in fact other competitors but the other factor which i personally believe is the biggest factor , is you have to race the desert first.
i have raced against the bigger motor, crowdogs teryx is fast he past me in a flat like i was standing still, and even running on one cylinder and 3 flats and in the last lap a complete blowout, brought in on a rim and still got second.and no they didn't finish that race.because the car was tore to pieces.i didn't beat them the desert did. But i get where your coming from.
I thought Cat 1000s already raced these series! V2R last year comes to mind no??
are you talking about the bi-polar team that never made weight, every race they should up to they were under weight. They still couldn't beat jaggedx with a 1000cc motor.
You are correct, Cory. It is bad for our sport. I know that change is inevitable. You have done so much for this sport and I appreciate it. Everyone should realize that the UTV manufactures were also looking for this change. They need their new cars out there on the race track. I just wish I were one of their sponsored drivers! Best of luck to you in your new ride!BITD/UTVRA rules are not made by one person. The original rules were written by me. In the last 5 years any rule changes were made by the collective decision of a group. The members of this group are the past and present BITD/UTVRA racers and Casey Folks, Tim Orchard, Bill Schuler, Lee Perfect, and the manufactures of UTVs.
Tech inspection for UTVs is done for class compliance and safety. The UTVRA has 5 tech inspectors; Cory, Eric, Matt, Billy, Donavan.
The UTVRA is run by 2 people Cory and Eric.
Calling me and the UTVRA a joke and asking me to "step down" upsets me, my family and my friends.
It is counter productive and not good for our sport!
