Perhaps!!And bringing a little yellow to the starting grid?
Premier class? Why wouldn't they do like everyone asked pro turbo and pro production ? If that is the case then any n/a car should be allowed to run the turbo class IMO nothing got solved here cause people with N/A cars now are basically racing a amateur class?
Holy shit you just said something I can relate to. Let's shut the Internet down now!Premier status is a function to some extent perception but on a practical level overall times and competitive field. If turbos don't dominate on time or only 1 or two finish a race they won't be considered premier. It just has to play itself out and then we'll know. The only thing for certain is a turbo car has more horsepower.
That's my point I agree how can they just already say it is the premier class lolPremier status is a function to some extent perception but on a practical level overall times and competitive field. 98% of the field this year (2015) has been N/A cars, that means 80% of the field next year will still be N/A cars.
Very good points there. Seems utvra and bitd want to make a spec class more then anything. The class is good!! But the rules are CRAP!! They fully eliminated aftermarket support in a PREMIER class!! What a joke! So the only aftermarket company's that can support the Premier race class are suspension??? If they want to keep the engines and electrical all stock, force everyone to run bone stock suspension!! Now you have something there! We will see who can drive and can keep a car together! Roll cage and fuel cell and lights, if were going to be stock, lets be stock!!
where did you get this info that ecu remains stock? You are correct all stock ECU, engines, turbos, injectors, etc.
thats just Simms hoping he is in the premier class. i believe there will be 2 premier classes, the na class and the turbo class. the unlimited class and sportsman class are not premier. That's my point I agree how can they just already say it is the premier class lol
so you are saying that the current Pro UTV class is actually unlimited?I think the rules are supposed to differentiate "Production Class" vs. "Unlimited Class". If you allow the turbo production guys to do whatever they want to an engine, doesn't the class become unlimited which already exists?
