Baja 1000 UTV's

are utv's running a shorter course? i am a little confused if they were in400+ and had 100 to go?

Nope, same course as the others..
course is 693 miles this year.
Actually 700+ with the changes they made before Ojos before the start. But yes they go the same distance at the Trophy Trucks.

Amazing ground swell of support for 1802 on RDC on two different threads. Come on UTVUG...root these guys on!

1802 at RM606..
1806 still showing 0 mph at RM623. But while ago they showed 0 mph at RM620 and then jumped to 623. they were reported to be still moving, so who knows...
1 hour and 12 minutes to finishline closing

Any news about them finishing????

They are at RM 605 out of 700 miles. The driver is a paraplegic from Canada driving this race for charity with hand controls. Currently they are in 2nd place, but will likely time out as they have to finish by 10:18 PST to be an official finisher. But either way this guy just wants to finish. Amazing! Go 1802!!!

Well, according to iritracker, 1802, Kane Fraser is now the leader in the 1800 class... 1806 hasn't shown movement for about an hour or more now...
but neither will make the finishline cutoff now... valiant effort though..
Kane is still a champion..and Kevin did damn good... kudos to them all...all of the racers in the 1800 class..

Just noticed, 1806's tracker's last time stamp was over an hour ago, so that means the tracker is stopped working. If the car was broke, the tracker would still be showing time changes..
Edit: just updated tracker time to current time for 1806..still in the same spot... done for them I'm sure

Weatherman telling SCORE Ops that they have to let 1802 finish, that 3/4 of the comments on RDC are in support of 1802...

How far do they have to go and how long till the cutoff?

I will go post on Race Desert if that helps

Just posted on race dezert for what it is worth. How far do they need to go in 20 min?

80 miles, but everyone on RDC is telling SCORE Ops to let them finish... Weatherman is even joining in and insisting they let 1802 finish...

Posted on both threads, I hope they listen. 1802 may be the first XP to finish the Baja 1000. Go guys

Score ops just gave the go ahead for 1802 to finish he has 75 miles to go, just heard the driver say he had enough fuel to finish!!!:D:D:D:D
