Anyone Interested in racing SNORE?

Diddy...my feedback would be to keep the rules the same as BITD and to do everything possible to keep entry fees reasonable for UTV's.

Question: does SNORE run Iri-trackers? Why no Mint for UTV?

Comment: I thank SNORE for allowing UTV's to race. I just hope this increases interest in UTV racing and doesn't dilute the entries in BITD races.[/QUOTE
They do not use the IRI Track as of now. The entry fees were estimated to be around 450 ish. They didn't say we won't be racing the Mint. They want us to come to these first few races as a trial to see how many show up and see how we handle ourselves racing with big cars on the track. Get your friends out here to race and lets give them a great show so that we will be invited to the Mint!!

Just giving you all an update. The SNORE board meeting was last night. The board has agreed to let you guys race the Laughlin Rage at the River this year and 2011 Battle at Primm next February as a trial period to see how it goes. These are short, two day races. My advice would be to show up in force and mingle with the car and truck guys, mingle with the board and then we can bring this up to the board again and get you guys full time on the schedule. This was the best we could do. Both of these races are a blast. Let's hear some feedback.

Thats great news!
I am still building my RZR so I won't be able to make Laughlin but will definitely be ready for Primm.

I want to say thanks to Eric aka rockstarcustomz and Mr. Pat Dailey for going to bat fopr the UTV community!

Good news! This helps our sport grow. Not quite sure how we will pull off two series but we are looking at it now. I took a look at the SNORE rules a bit and it looks like you are not required to race EVERY race to qualify for a championship like in BITD. I hope this brings out some new racers who were not racing BITD simply due to the cost. Thanks again to Rockstar for spearheading this!

Hey, no problem! My wife just wants to race and she is actually the one doing most of the work and most of the posting here also. I just keep her car together. I hope to see a big turn out at Rage on the River!

welcome to SNORE guys/gals you can pre-enter for rage at the river so you can get the interest going for the class and it was nice to watch you guys run at parker it was a good showing

To clarify, Will the UTV's be registering for a pro or sportsman class? What catagory do they register for? ( they are not listed yet on the entry form) What is the UTV entry fee and is there a pay out?

Thanks For info
BS JX

We will all be racing pro. As this is just a trial they didn't want an extra class. The entry fee is $430 and there will be a pay out, but I don't know the percentage.

Is there any way we can up these early trial races to 1000cc and sportsman rules? I know myself, Jon Crowly, and Hans Waage are all out for Laughlin unless we can run (BITD's 2011 rules)

:D

I agree,if everybody thinks its unfair after the race then kick me out.

phone call made and it is done so get entered :D

Were the rules changed to the 2011 BITD Pro or Sportsman rules? I think that since a majority of the racers will be coming from the BITD Pro class it should mirror those rules for the first two trial races.

And I think that will compromise the future of UTV's racing at Snore due to a lower turnout......
