Well, Cody's partner over jumped deadmans drop and broke his tib fib. Didn't even crash, compression break, time for surgery. Code is getting ready to go solo in the utv now.
Well LEGP was the 1st race for my personal car. I did not get a chance to drive it before the race. When we got to the track it was sputtering a little. With no time to really dig into it we just turned up the accelerator pump and called it good. 3 miles into the first lap at 25 mph the motor let go. So we sat and watched the race. I will be back. I had a great time.

Finished fixing damage from 395 works .(rack ,trans ,frame ) showed up early for legp utv race about 12:00 registered all good 2:45 warm up the car .go to line up 2:48 pull up to the lane they say go my nets are down helmet not strapped not thinking I take off trying to snap my net in .here we go first lap start catching about the second turn in the roost no rag gloves are done . in a blur pass about 10 cars .I start second lap about 65mph belt shredes I'm done . So bummed was having a blast this was such a cool race. See you guys next time maybe Soboba. watch your mirrors I'm figuring this thing out .

First, a quick shout out, Im glad there were 36 cars that raced the LEGP, with both WORCS at SpeedWorld and ASCC at FireBird racing today the count was good and shows the sport is healthy and growing. If you didnt do it you missed a fun one.
Now, my quick, self serving race report.
Saw the weather, sain no SR1, told Cody take your moms Rhino insted. Signed up UTV and Team MX race.
Turn moms 4 seater into 2 (Thanks to Black Rhino for finding me some of those retrofit doors to make us legal)
Boys borrow a 450 (both boys are 250 riders) & race Team Race.
Friend Kyle takes the start and goes from near last to 20ish out of 60 on first lap, hands off to Code.
Code loses 1 spot on his lap and hands off to Kyle.
Kyle is fast desert racer, kyle is young, kyle is enthusiastic, kyle is fast, kyle over jumps deadmans drop by 15+' and breaks tib fib on landing. In the emergency room they asked what Kyle was allergic to, we said 450's.
Kyle goes to hospital, Cody goes solo in UTV.
Cody starts 2nd to last in group 3 and come through 20ish end of lap 1. By end of lap 3 he comes through in 11th, then never comes back again. He passed 25 cars but got his ass kicked by a hay bail & dnf's.
in the process he set 7th fastest lap out of 36 cars, in a Rhino. Anyone want it? Its for sale, I want an XP now.....
Tearoffs are your friend.
Notables....
Winner, Funco's Garrett George-fastfast faaaassst fast fast fast fast. Did I mention he was fast?
2nd, our buddy James Hill. At the end of lap 3 he closed the gap on Garrett to within striking distance.. but spun out then flatted.
4th, Blues 4WD ZX powered Teryx thingy finished! and looked good doing it, I was suprised....good job.
Kyle LeDuc did the longets powerslide I think Ive ever seen in a UTV.
Sux for Rusty, hope its an easy fix.
There are so many more good stories but after waiting for Kyle to go into surgery then driving home Im tired......

We had a good time at the LEGP. It was my second GP race and we came in 6th out of 12 in our class. I believe we were in 3rd place until I rolled it on the 3rd turn, heading towards the finish line on the last lap LOL. The weather was crappy, but when it was our turn (UTV's) to race, it started raining.
SAFETY: This was my first roll over in a race and I'm glade I had all my safety equiptment. The cargo nets, 5 point harness and doors played a big part in the roll over. We rolled over on my Co-drivers (Leandre) side. The only damage was to the door frame. As Lee is getting out through the window, i'm still in my seat (sideways) waiting for him and the spotter (who I almost rolled over) to flip us over. When they flipped us back over, I didn't have to adjust anything. The 5 point harness, cargo nets and doors did their jobs.
This was a good race and those of you who didn't go missed out. It was cool seeing some of the Underground people out there. I'll see you guys at Ocotillo Wells, New Years or the Soboba GP in January. Thanks for everybodies encouragment and support.
