yeah I was looking forward to seeing you guys again this year.... that's ok I know #2 happens we will see you next timeWay to go Jeff and Brian, wish I could have been there.
i forgot my gopro but i think the lens would have been covered in mud after the first few turns anyways. So where are all the videos and pictures......anyone?
Sure was nice to spend a few days in warm weather..
Another record turnout guys, Things are looking up at the WORCS series for SxS , people are starting to realize there are in fact entry level racing options for them.
15 cars started class 2, I was able to start on line 1 due to my points position. I got the holeshot from the very outside spot. the course had lots of jumps and the desert portion was very rough with lots of small elevation changes. I held a nice lead until lap 4 of 6 when someone was blocking the track in a single track area, held a few of us up for about 30 seconds, just enough time for 2nd place to catch me. He put on the pressure for the final lap and a half but I was able to hold him off for the win.
Thanks to my Walker Evans shocks I was able to post the fastest lap in class 2 the last 3 WORCS races I have been to. The car worked well and Im looking forward to ANZA.
Good to finally meet you John. Sorry I didnt get to meet you big guy or red rhino, or staggs for that matter.. I plan to cruise around more and find you guys next time.
I have Go Pro footage and a couple pics I will post soon..
Seaver WORCS #712
