Alright guys, Back to Cali! After record car counts at ANZA in April, Glen Helen should be another big one! Whos In?



Location: Glen HelenMX Devore, CA

Directions: Closest Airport (Ontario Int'l Airport)- (20 miles). From the LA, Orange County, San Diego Areas: Take the I-15 Fwy North, then I-215 Fwy. South. Exit at Devore exit and follow race signs. From the Riverside, San Berndino, Palm Springs & Barstow area. Take I-215 Fwy. North. Take the Devore exit and follow race signs.
Practice Hours: 11-4pm Friday Open Practice $20 per bike
Age Class: 4 Years old +
Track Entry Fee: $10 per person per day $20 weekend pass, Youth 12 and under $5 Weekend pass
Gate Hours: 7-10pm daily 6-10pm- Sat and Sun
Sign Up Hours: Fri 11am-5pm Sat 6:30am-6pm Sun 7am-3:30pm.

it's a bummer this is the same weekend as the Sand Sports Show.
 
I will be there ready to rock and roll with TEAM 747 INK.
Just did a test run with the car and she's ready to go.

I will be going, but I won't be getting my car until the day before the race. What better way to test then in a race......lol
 
I WILL BE THERE BEEN WORKING ON THE RHINO ALL DAY GETTING IT PREPPED FOR THE RACE ...
I WILL BE CAMPING GETTING THERE FRIDAY MORNING SOME TIME.

Side By Side Special Rules

1: All Side By Side’s must have 4 point harness for each occupant.

2: Must have ABC type fire extinguisher on board.

3: Side doors or nets are required keep occupant legs within the foot well area.

4: Full factory or improved roll cage must be intact.

5: To be considered a Side By Side the vehicle must have come with an OEM rear cargo bed.

6: All occupants must wear full protective clothing to include at least a helmet, goggles, and gloves. All other clothing must provide full coverage.

7: Fuel cells are allowed.

It's probably going to be a lot of motocross (at Glen Helen, the turns can be tight and the ruts deep - do what you can to save your front spindles - lol!) and probably some sand washes, etc. I am not sure if they will throw in some of the hills, but I have been up ALL of those hills in my Rhinos before, and they can definitely pucker you up! :)

Fun stuff, though - you guys are gonna have a blast!!

Two racers I help just finished the 3rd practice for the day.
It is mostly the Mx track with one of the hills. That all anyone was allowed to practice on.
But it will run over to the LOORS track for the race. Looks like its going to be a big turn out.
Reminds me over the early days of UTV racing.
 
I just got back from Glen Helen and the track is going to have some carnage for sure. There is a couple huge hill climbs right off the start and continues through the MX track.
