What tire's & size's?????

Good Question, Maybe someone with both 12" n 14" experiance will chime in.. I bought the 12"s because I found the set cheap/used. Im also curious about pros and cons with using these different rim sizes with racing, side walls.. weight...

Really? I have 26's, shouldn't I step down to 25's because of weight?

you will lose weight with the 9's, but you still need ground clearance, and it does not hurt to have a lil extra side for rock pinches. ;)

hmm... maybe i'll just get rears... I also thought lower profile tires would roll less in turns... Thanks!

a 1/2" is not much difference concerning roll. you still have your sway bar on Yes? if not you need to have it

No sway bar....

it will not corner correctly without it, the stock one works great too! that is all the flying banana ever had. for the dunes you could take it off, but if your gonna race, you need it. :)

It makes sense... I'll see what I can do. I'm not that close to FU2.

Rog is spot on. I always liked the loose feeling of no sway bar when playing in the desert but the sway bar does increase rear traction and would be wise to haev when you compete!

I didn't feel like I had a huge cornering problem except for the feeling of driving in 4wd the whole time which feels slower and handles weird when trying to set up for a corner.

i switched mine friday night.. it is so loose dezert playing feels like a 1400 with stock showroom floor ranger tires but i think iam use to 10" 26 i think i will stay with the smaller tires..

I know this post is about 2 years old but it has helped out tremendously with deciding on what wheel and tire set up to go with. 1 question though! Have any of your minds changed about wheel and tire sizes?
