What do you guys think about the second weekend in Oct. Also is Columbus day holiday for some folks ?

We have a place @ Ironwoods there in OW....I think this would be a great event to start......each year MX & Freestyle teams decend on OW OHV for a weekend or two along with the TDS folks, but never has there been a startup event or even a manufacturer event like in glamous.
I do kow NCY puts on a customer appreciation event each year and it's well attended.
There is terain for all to enjoy, and if organized properly folks like us would be happy to help....picking an off weekend is key....weekends before or after a big holiday is usually the best bet.....we tend to have the park all to ourselves those weekends....

That seems like a doable time frame for us.

COLUMBUS WEEKEND SOUNDS GREAT.
Anything before the end of October is gonna be hot. Like 100 degrees!

You thinking 9-10 weekend?
Average high for the Oct date is 92-93
Average high for the Nov date is 82-83
Is that weekend competeing with anything else major?

I think no matter which weekend we choose, it's gonna compete with some event somewhere. Hopefully, as it grows it will become the first choice of folks.
Veterans day is Nov 11 and I know there are several things going on that weekend also. Not saying we shouldn't do it then but at some point we just have to decide and hope for the best.
I can't finish the permit process until we settle on a date.

Was just saying that's all . The early oct sounds good to me , I just looked at the forecast and it said rain the week be for ( no dust ) and 77 days and 67 nights .

We went at the end of Sept. last season and it was hot and the files wear almost unbearable. Not sure if 2 more weeks would make much of a difference to mid Oct.

Just messing with ya Jim like they say build it and they will come and if they don't they'll miss out and be there the year after .
