truck rack build.

Tired of using my dump trailer just to take my sxs out so am building a truck rack out of 1 1/2 mix of .090 and 0120 wall mild steel. gonna mount a winch on it as well so I can pull up if needed

build them cause they need to be long I found some good sharp expanded metal that i'm going to bend the sides in and do a light frame under for strength. never done this so its all trial by error..

put commander on rack, need to build ramps now and finish up little things....

it was fine pulling it on except i had some monkeyd together ramps for now, am going to build some nice ones... havent had on the road yet to c how truck drive's..

2500 cummings 4x4, and I agree if it doesent feel right driving it it will do good as a quad rack or something. just wanted to try something different

Why not lower the COG and make it level like a sled deck? Then lock it in place with your receiver hitch and pin

It shouldn't be any worse than a cab over camper.Just dont do any donuts.

by racking it back like that it brought the tallest part of the car down

I love my truck rack! Short bed, crew cab Ford. Works great. Only thing I would recommend is a good set of camper tie downs up front.

Don't see them on their website anymore, but I would contact them and see what is up. They hold up great and fold in half for easier transport.

That looks like them.

Put air bags on your truck if you don't have them already. Makes a huge difference once you load up.

Here is a recent shot of mine with my Teryx on it.
