Well I jumped into this Build after a lot of research but I do not think any amount of preparation can cover all the angles, dimensions, clearances, bracing, tabbing you deal with through it. Obviously if you have done a build previously you probably have a list or atleast a few things you would add or change should you build another car. I know I already have a few.. My question is what are the little things you guys feel are good additions or just over kill whether it be comfort related or construction related? We are using Lonestar suspension with fox podiums, Harmon 20 gal fuel cell, sparco seats, dragon fire harnesses to name a few of the bigger items. Construction is .095 1.5" chromoly, tig welded. I tried uploading photos from my iPhone but I couldn't figure it out. So if anyone knows how give me the info and I'll post some pics.

What series are you going to run?

Honestly I have fox on one car and reworked Walker Evans on another. Prefer the Walkers. I have a Harmon 18 gal fuel cell w two internal fuel pumps. I'd recommend two pumps if your having it made. I may sell you mine I'm not using it.

Reinforce the sway bar attachment.
Put chromoly doubler washers on shock mounts and rad rod connection points on rear plate.
Gusset the battery mount to the front tubes.
Eliminate the fucking pin on the front driveline with an 8mm bolt.
I prefer harness w pockets to hold clutch tool and snips cell phone etc.
Steel plate over vitals in the rear. Chromoly if your worried about wt.

Make sure the seats fit right. Had to change my seats they wouldn't fit a wide glide ass. Everyone complained.
