new to sxs looking for some insight

looking for your guys help. I am new to sxs ( raced moto cross for 20 years) and looking to get into some local worcs racing and other small so cal races. I am looking to see what is the best sxs for me to start with. i have 2 that im looking at. 1 is a 2007 660 rhino score legeal with hcr suspension custom cage gps. the other is a 2009 rzr s stock with after market cage only... ned your guys help...

I would look into the Rhino with HCR suspension.If you really want some power and factory support get a POLARIS XP900 and get use out of your warranty and this is the best SXS in the market.

I would go with the RZR all day. I love the rhino but you telling me it's score tagged means its heavy. For worcs racing you don't need a GPS and you certainly don't want weight. The RZR has more power and good suspension. Go with the Polaris!!

I LOVE MY RHINO BUT IT TAKES A LOT OF MONEY TO MAKE ONE RACE READY & YOU WILL ALWAYS BE DOWN ON POWER UNLESS YOU GO TO A AN R1 OR ROTAX ENGINE. I BELIEVE YOUR BEST BET IS A RZR XP OR EVEN A RZR S. BOTH FAST & GOOD SUSPENSIONS. AFTERMARKET CAGE IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA FOR RACE APPLICATIONS. GOOD LUCK & YOU WILL LOVE RACING A SXS.

If your even considering racing anything (WORCS) tells me that your performance minded.... Buy the Polaris XP . No question.

I was going to buy a class two or three car for the worcs until I practiced this weekend with my XP at adelanto and there is know way i would be happy with a slower car. Spend the extra money and buy an XP. Just my .02

would love an xp. just not in the cards for now. going to look at a few used rzr s tomorrow. my buddy keeps trying to get me to buy his race rhino, (was not score taged did race worcs with it) but the post from all of you say other wise. but it is Dirt cheep. lol. thank you all for the help on this one. aside form gorman any other good local spots to play? we are in woodland hills. I RACE MY RHINO AND LOVE IT.
I ALSO HAVE A XP JUST FOR FUN.
IF YOU CAN GET A GOOD DEAL ON THE RHINO I SAY GO FOR IT, THE WAY THE OTHER CLASS'S ARE GOING YOU WILL HAVE A LOT MORE COMPETISION IN CLASS 1 OR 2, CLASS 3 IS SMALL AND FUN, AND GREAT FOR THE BEGINNERS

The rhino class at WORC's IMHO looks like the funnest class...there is only so much you can do to them so the playing field is not about who has the biggest checkbook. Class 2 would also be fun in a rzrs. The competition is stiffer and it will definatly cost more coin.....The XP's are the shit. It IMO is going to be the hardest class to compete in as there are the most seasoned racers racing. I also see it moving into the point of who has the biggest checkbook.
