LOORS SO CAL XP900 HANG OUT THREAD

SR-7 Arm Restraints

Arm restraints are mandatory in the RZR XP class. Restraints must be certified to SFI spec 3.3 and clearly labeled.

I read the rules again and it sounds like the clutch must be totally stock? But it also says unlimted in the same paragraph, It specifically says SR1s can change spring etc. theres no way an unlimited does not have different springs, weights etc. I think clutch mods on the stock clutch are ok, but needs to be clarified. Im guessing they mean no billet trick clutches etc.

-28 Transmission
Unlimited & RZR XP:
Every vehicle must use the stock transmission and clutch design.
The stock rear differential must also be used.
All vehicles must have a functional reverse gear.
B. SR1: Must use stock transmission as delivered from manufacturer. Vehicle must use direct
chain drive.

UTVR-29 Clutch

Lol. Sorry you had a bad experience Nick. The mud bog races are brutal. Raced my less than 50 mile XP last year at glen Helen. Sucked. I can't wait to hear about your first event at Glen Helen. The safety stuff seems extreme but after you get out there n you guys are full throttle over those truck jumps side by side, one you will understand their concern, two it will be so damn fun you won't care about the added $ you spent on HANS device and arm restraints. :)

Maybe I am naive but how are you supposed to pull tear offs if you have your wrists restrained to the wheel?

Also are the restrains "required" or "recommended"?

Arm Restraints

A. Arm restraints are mandatory in the RZR XP class. Restraints must be certified to SFI spec 3.3 and clearly labeled.

Yes they leave leave enough room to drive and pull a tear off.

I'm just glad I built my cage to there specs! Im fine with all the saftey requirements. A lil relived that I got a stock motor coming, wont have the worry of my motor lasting in my head at the start line!!!

Some info..

Payout is 25 dollars per car will be held till the end of the season and divided up. So 20 cars first race is 500 bucks towards the pot.

Hes VERY SERIOUS about stock motors. He just got his own and is going to be testing cars the very first race to show he aint FUCKING AROUND.......You cheat GTFO !!!!!

Joey squeeze yourself in a 2 seater and run with us...We are in the same weight class.
