That looks pretty official to me lol.

I'm sorry but your info is awfully inaccurate and Marc yes he won but is still losing to me in points.

As far as being the god you think he is, a guy that can beat all of us with 1 arm behind his back and missing an axle, is not. Had Carver, Guthrie, myself driven our cars to failure we could have run with Marc easily. As a matter of fact I'm pretty sure Guthrie was running away from him. I have a points championship to win so I was not driving my car 100%. Had the race been 1 lap more we would have drove by him with our hands tied behind our backs as well.

ON A SIDE NOTE....

Make sure your info is accurate before you spread rumors. I had 5 texts in 2 minutes asking me wtf happened

Looks like Brandon picked up a 5 minute penalty for illegal entry into the hot pits.Ouch! Marc ended up getting first place finishes both days. The second day, he drove on 3 axles and still won. With one arm tied behind his back, he beat the field. Better get a hold of it guys before Marc builds up a cushion. He should now have
the points lead by about 4 over Branden. I hate that such a hard earned position is lost off the track.
ON A SEPARATE NOTE.
Some weasel filed a false complaint to Casey accusing 1905 of having a chase vehicle in an unauthorized area. Grounds for DQ . HEY BONE HEAD, MARC IS #905 THIS YEAR {you unethical fuck}. Marc couldn't have been happy when Casey showed up in his pits with the blm to discuss the bogus infraction. Nice try BONEHEAD.
No shit, 1905 was last year. Truly Busch league

You, 88 (60 S/F + 28 position) +276 = 364,
Marc, 95 (60 S/F + 35 position) +259 = 354

The only inaccuracy I see in my corrected post is regarding the time penalty (which would've put Marc leading the points). If you want to label that as being "highly inaccurate", that is your prerogative. I mistakenly took it from the Laughlin UTV world championships. I apologize for my oversight. My bad. So yes you are still leading the points, by 10 total. I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say I'm "spreading rumors". IMO, relaying unsubstantiated information received from a 3rd party, now that's spreading rumors. I made a simple, and honest mistake regarding a time penalty assessed months earlier at the same location. There was no malice involved. As I stated, it is a shame when track position is lost due to politics off the track, and I'm happy it didn't happen to you. As far as passing the competition goes, it looks like Marc won out in that area. In the first race, Marc started 3 rows behind you, yet finished nearly a minute and a half in front of you. In this race, Marc claims he never drove the car harder than 75%,because like you, he too is chasing a championship. In the second race, one of his cv joints began knocking somewhere on lap 1, forcing him to backpedal the car significantly (hence the "hands tied behind his back" comment), until totally losing that drive axle sometime on lap 3, as indicated by his whopping 22 minute plus final lap.
So, let me get this straight. You couldn't pass Marc in 4 laps (3 of which were raced in a mechanically compromised car), but would have passed him if given a 5th lap. Huh?
I still stand by the claim I made here a couple or three years ago that Marc is hands down, the fastest driver in his class, and with healthy equipment, will take any BITD/SCORE UTV driver to school in a racing environment.
There will come a time later this season where it's go time. Where yours and Marc's paths will cross in a moment of fate. Where only the class championship and your desire and will to win, will dictate how hard you need to push yourself and your equipment. Let me know how that goes for you. As I stated after first seeing you drive in the Mint a coupe of years back, I think you are the real deal. But Marc is just plain Badass. Id love to be a bird in the sky for that duel.

I would say those times are official seeing that penalties have been applied to those that earned them. I wasn't as concerned about the points totals as I had already figured them out myself and knew that I wasn't assed any penalties, my main concern (which to me equated to highly inaccurate) was the phone calls/texts asking me about my time penalty that they had read about on the Underground. It seems that you are always on top of everything with the upmost accuracy so when I saw this thread filled with multiple posts that weren't accurate I was quite surprised. I guess "rumors" wouldn't have been the most correct term now knowing the circumstances. I assumed you heard that from another party and relayed the message, I apologize for that.

As for the race goes Marc flat out beat me fair and square theres no doubt about that one. He drove fast, hard, and smooth for the most part. Starting on the pole on Saturday I didn't realize what the pace was from the rows behind me so I backed off quite a bit to much and that ultimately hurt my time. When I finished on Saturdays race I saw Marc's rear CV's smoking and knew that they didn't have much life left in them. Going into Sundays race I wasn't going to try and outrun him because I knew it would be near to impossible from where I was sitting with how well his car was working and he was driving.

So let me get this straight, now you are saying his car was mechanically compromised for 3 of the 4 laps??? That doesn't make sense, seeing that his axle failed on the 4th lap. Does it not make sense to let someone take themselves out of the race rather than beat my car to a pulp trying to pass them? Im very observant and felt his car wasn't going to be able to hold up for the entire race on Sunday with the pace he was running. His car would have lost an axle on Saturdays race had it been one more lap. I know for sure had it been 1 more lap that Carver and I would have beat him without a doubt. Unfortunately if he was only driving at 75% and his axles couldn't hold up for 67 miles, he has a problem..... I guess it would be fair to throw out my mechanicals now so that I can say I had one arm behind my back and a punctured lung. I had an intake issue that caused my car to die and my co driver to un buckle and repair the issue on lap 2, and that I blew a tire on lap 3 at RM 9 that resulted in me having to run on a flat into the hot pits and have a tire changed.

I will say this, it takes more than being a fast driver to be the best in this class.

Oh and this is my 3rd race in a row with the fastest lap, just saying.......

Touche' my friend! I did not expect that your car was 100% healthy, as you are a formidable opponent and would have kept a tighter reign on the leaders than you did, if possible. And don't think I didn't notice that you laid down the fastest lap. It just wasn't conducive to my message, that's all.
Classy response by the way. I took you to task, and where most others would have aggressively responded to my "attack" resorting to childish name calling and asinine accusations, your words were respectful and concise. That says a lot about a man. I do look forward to your upcoming duel with Marc. It is inevitable, as the road to your championship will have to pass through him. I see it being analogous to two gunfighters in the old west, at the top of their game, meeting up in some small town in bum-fuck Egypt for a shootout. No fans or keyboards, just 2 men with a point to prove. Now, not come across as gay or anything, but that just sounds downright romantic. Or dare I say....... epic?

Has everyone forgotten what desert racing is about? It's about getting across the line with the fastest time. Whether it's an hour or a second, the fastest time wins. Prep, being a fast driver, driving smart, and repairs are all a part of the game. Being prepared with a game plan is the biggest part IMO. The fastest lap, who's a faster driver, etc are very small pieces of the puzzle. Anyone can say "I woulda won if this didn't happen". Look at Millen, i guarantee he has more seat time and would be considered the fastest driver in the UTV classes. Is he killing everyone?

I thought we were all comrades around here? Why would we want ANYONE killing any of us if they could?

Too late you already came across as in LOVE with Marc but we're all ok with that.....carry on.

You knuckleheads haven't a clue. Marc and I parted on some pretty bitter terms, and I could give 2 shits whether or not he wins or loses.
To be honest, watching his last season go "up in flames" wasn't all that hard for me. It was somewhat vindicating actually. Look, I'm no diplomat. I call em as I see em. If silly insinuations about ones manhood make you all feel better about your inability to deal with Marc on the racetrack, then so be it. To my knowledge, Marc has never cheated. Doesn't need to. Cheating his way to victory would not gratify him. Anyone thinking they are as badass a driver as Marc is can walk up to him before any event, and bet him any amount of money you can afford to lose that you will beat him to the checkers. If anyone of you is up to the task, take note of the peaceful grin on his face as his palm engulfs your hand in a man-shake to seal the deal. Be sure to stop at the ATM on the way back to your pits, cause you'll be needing the cash
come race end to square up.
Blowjob's and cheating. Really?

Did I just read that Marc Burnett is the best Driver in class 19 ? Isn't Ryhs Millen and in this class ?

My brother told me Guthrie had the field covered by more than 3 minutes on Sunday ? Is Fact or BS ? He likes to exaggerate.

You must first finish, to finish first.

That being said, I'm not sure what caused Guthrie's fire, but that's the last car and prep job Id expect to have a fire.
