Back in town. Serious jet lag after 24 hours of flying and customs. I will post up some more pictures later this week.

But I did see Joe, Chris and Ed at Moreeb Hill. Small world for sure!

The dunes in the UAE go forever. Glamis would be like a little pimple compared to the dunes around Abu Dhabi. And if you could ride into Saudi Arabia, it is beyond imagination.

The most popular area to ride is over near Dubai, but we were in Abu Dhabi near Liwa. Only tracks we saw were near the area surrounding Moreeb Dune. Otherwise, it was buttery smooth, rippled sand as far as you could see.

By far the most popular UTV over there that I saw is the Polaris RZR. And we saw a ton of RZR S.

They even advertised RZR S on the front page of the sports section:

I saw one or two Buckshots. A few Sand Limos and some Quicksands.

Most of the action was right around Moreeb Hill - more of a social thing. But there are more and more people getting out further into the dunes.

They spent some coin on the place. The road from Liwa to Moreeb Dune is about 15 miles and was built 4 or 5 years ago. The only reason for the road is to get to Moreeb Dune.

Just courious, with that many people and no laws against say helmets and such, did you see many injuries when you were there? This place is looks nuts for sure.
