Dakar 2012 - UTV's

Looks like there is approximately 5 UTV's racing in this years' Dakar Rally in South America. Good luck to all of those racing.

Awesome!! Our friends at Race-Dezert.com are keeping us all posted on the Dakar so be sure to check in with them! I will post info I get here as well surrounding Team USA and any other cool Dakar related info! Hopefully get some cool UTV stuff too!

Robbie received a cool birthday present. Nasser won stage 2 for him in a RGM Hummer! RG didnt do to bad himself, with a third place finish today. If only he wouldnt of hit that rock and got a puncture.

They have had each day recaps on VS at 1030pm. Can set the DVR and keep updated pretty well!

It's so good to see those guys stop to help him, or at least make sure he was getting help. This is how it should be - and this is what any decent human being would do (race or not), but it's still a great thing to see happen. Gives me hope in mankind....

that's the norm in the off road motorcycle community, no matter what race or level of the competitiion...a real sense of brotherhood that I have not seen in most of forms of racing, I know though that in the UTV racing that I have experienced...if someone was to wad it up in front of others racers... I know they'd stop and give aid if needed.

does anyone know what the rules are for the utv class, as far as modifications. All that suspension looks really stock.
