Well built my first cage today. Its a bit different. Tailgate removed seats a little farther back for more legroom. Darn kids just wont stop growing. Lol. Added a shourtcourse truck oval type rear bumper. And running dual buckets instead of bench. Let me know what you think. Both good and bad comments accepted. Thanks chris.

Does the bottom hoop of the bumper attach to anything? Any plans of adding a bar across the back of the seats near the seat belt holes in the seats. I believe belts are only suppose to be angled 10* down that way if you get into a wreck they pull on your shoulders and chest vs pulling straight down and compressing your spine.

Its hard to see from that angle but yes there are two tubes that run from the bottom of the bumper under the seats to the tube frame seat mount. The seat mount is made out of 1.5 120 wall dom. Then there are four tubes that pass through the bed that connect the seat frame to the teryx's frame. Does that make sense? And I didn't know about the 10 degree angle on the belts so ill look into that. Might have to redo that bar. Overall what do you think?

The cage looks nice , but it doe's look like its missing something in the roof area as far for a complete roll over. Maybe V-brace from the center to the outside rear corners and that would help to support a roof skin ,but I'm not a cage builder . But it doe's look nice

It looks pretty good. If you do move the bar behind the seat I would drop it to slightly below the seatbelt holes then add another cross bar to the top that has a 45* on each end that welds to the top tubes before the 90* bend down. I think that will make it look complete. Like this one

Yeah I was thinking earlier today about adding the x on top. Probably will do that along with moving the head bar. Took the kids out today and must say when my two year old daughter screams and cries when I shut it off saying they like it is an understatement. Ha
