So, it looks like the Monster Mav is an underdog against all of that Polaris muscle! Poor thing's got band-aids all over it, and were just entering the meat and potatoes of the SCORE season!
I must admit that UTV Inc, and Sims are a concern due to their lack of track record racing SCORE/BITD pro sportsman UTV (at least that I'm aware of). They both started their tenure strong, but not enough info for me to have confidence in whipping them yet. Cognito's SS 300 was impressive, but was it merely a lucky start? (calm down BJim, I'm just yanking your chain. Congrats by the way. Impressive!) You all know how badly we want to smoke the JX guys. I know they are going to up their game in an effort to steal back some badly needed points (better pick up some more of that magic engineering potion
!)
The speeds at this years 500 should hover around 35-37 mph avg. 40 would be hard in Baja. I think we averaged 38 mph en route to our San Felipe win, w/a belt and tire change to boot. I'm telling you guys, Marc knows Baja like you know your way to work in the morning. Better bone up!

This wouldn't be my first Baja adventure..... Let me add that I was invited to race with a Pro quad team and had to race 420 miles of the Baja 1000 on a point to point year. Let me tell you 420 miles on a quad is rough!!!! So I may possibly be somewhat familiar with the terrain of Baja

Marc's won a few Baja's on two wheels. A couple of years back, he was in his class 6 truck for 40 hours straight while soloing the 1,000.
