4 seat Teryx build

This build is meant to address a few issues. First, I need 4 seats as I really want to take my wife and kids to Moab. I had a blast there a few years ago. I didn't want the seats in the bed and wanted a low cg. So we stretched it 26 inches, widened the cab about 7 inches, lowered the roof line and dropped the seats quite a bit. Suspension will be 6" over. The engine will be left between the rear seats, although we've thought about moving it many times.

The length of it would make a great desert racer for sure. The car was designed in solid works by Brett Carter (Krawl Industries) so all dimensions are saved. Picture Brett Carters car longer by a tire and a little tamer and that what this will look like. It's fun to build your own machine with your buddys.

We've made some great progress this weekend on the T4. Check out the pictures. The rear hoop and desert bars are in place along with both harness bars. Of course we had to place the bed and hood on to get a good visual. I'll be tying the front hoop to the front suspension mounts and trying to get the engine mounts built this weekend. I see suspension arms starting in the near future. This is a blast to do!!!

Here are the updated pictures from the last couple weekends. Lots of progress. Starting to really take shape. Next weekend I plan on installing the engine and then finishing up on the tubes. Let me know what you think. Brett and Ed are great friends and with out them this wouldn't be so fun to do!!!!

Very nice Aaron! Since you keep mentioning Moab, will you be attending the rally in May? If so we'll need to hook up and play since we'll have a few build (standard) Teryx 4 there this year.

We've already been working on our trail selection for 2012 so we'll pencil you and Brett into our plans!
