What sticks out to me most about that leader board is that there are four Can Ams' in the Top 10. The only four in the race. I love competition between manufacturers. Once again the tracking was sub par and made it almost impossible to follow from home.

Such a great time. So stoked to finally get to drive in a desert race. Had many opportunities and a few squandered because the car never made it to me during a race. But this time Chad delivered me the RZR in good shape and within 5 minutes our fuel system started sucking air. We had to stop 3 times to bleed the lines. But when she ran she ran strong. We did pretty damn well having rear started and had some downtime. Other than that our RZR was bad ass! The suspension is perfect. And hell, I got to race with some great friends in Reid Nordin, Chad & Larry Ragland, Steve and of course Rusty! I can't wait to do more next season.

It seems crazy that this class is so competitive that these guys danced back and forth for 200 miles and were only 30 seconds apart at the end of 3+ hours of racing. That means 1 flat puts you down around 8th place at best. There isn't any time for blown belts anymore. There isn't any room for error. I think it's absolutely awesome that the class is so tight and competitive.

I was the last set to go off the line (16th), that would put 32 Pro UTV's at the start.
It appears that next year Can-Am will dominate the Turbo Class and Polaris will dominate the non turbo class as there aren't any other brands in that class.

Did you go off by yourself or next to someone?

They're were definitely late entries. Joey d was one. Cody rahders was one.

I've gotta say that every race is an adventure, we are just a privateer team and when we passed the UTV Inc car with a flat my 12 year old son and co-dawg went crazy. I told him he'd be coming back hard and to watch the mirrors, Johhny was patient while we found a spot to pull over when he caught us, then a few miles later there is the UTV Inc car again on FIRE! Must not have been to major, congrats on the finish and overall first place.

LOL I bet your kid liked it even better when he saw us on fire lol . I was just a bit chilly out so we stopped and lit the car on fire to warm our hands .. so did you or did you not tell him after you passed us on fire to watch the mirrors ?

Thanks for racing with us and the Congrats !!
