Yamaha What are people doing about Moving pedals?

In a seat drop/race cassis.. I'm looking for ideas to relocate the throttle and brake pedals.. Any insight or pictures to share? Mine feels like its too far to the right.. I'm sure I can figure it out.. Just would like to see what others have done. Post up!

Mine are still in the stock location. The reach to the right has never bothered me, and it's something I have just been used to for the past few years. Saved having to mess with relocating them - lol!

I added some plate steel to the left side of my brake pedal. Also added a second piece of metal for it to swing on. Makes it real easy to keep my right foot on the gas and my left foot on the brake pedal.

Cory,, I doubt you even use the brakes.. Might as well ditch the pedal to drop some weight! Lol

Rhinowarrior.. I like that idea.. I'll look into it.. Thanks

Most people don't move them, and after going through to iterations of moving them myself, i can see why.

I ended up doing a CNC buggy pedal bolted to the floor, and reverse swing hanging pedals from CNC for the brakes and clutch. I made it so that I can use the stock master cylinder for now, with the option to upgrade to a buggy dual master cylinder setup in the future. (buy having a 1/4" steel plate laser cut to adapt the Rhino cylinder to the CNC pedal.

i drill through the 1x1 uprite ( frame ) and use the bolt hole in the stock pedal mount faceplate, this puts the whole assembly over about 3-4 inches to the left, then support the new overhanging portion of the plate. it does put the brake hoses to the limit. but it can be done. of course you have to bend the hardline a bit. ive never had an issue doing that on a few builds as far as leaks or failures down the line.

Now that I look close at it.. That looks pretty easy! The bolts that run cross ways would need a spacer.. Is that gonna be enough? Or did you add a bunch more? Thanks!!

exactly with the spacer. yeah you have to run a support to the far left of the plate. it will flex and bend without a support stringer.

Got it! Thanks!! And I thought it was gonna be some huge undertaking.. I'll have to mess with the floor a bit.. But that should be easy.. Thanks again!

Here's a picture of mine.

I moved my seats out 4.5" ,so the gas pedal is ok with me,but the brake pedal wasnt,so i just cut and bent it to the left.
