Hey Guys,

I suck at these build threads anymore but I am going to try again to keep you guys posted on the process.

I picked up another STOCK Turbo from Polaris the other day to build out for the Sand Sports Super Show. I plan to make this an insane dune machine. I want to make it as light weight as possible while still adding all the disco features of lights, stereo, coms, etc etc..

Robby Woods is making me a bad ass exhaust system that will replicate that of something you would see on a Ferrari or Lambo so it should look and sound cool.

SDR Motorsports will head the build up. I chose them again for this build because they are willing to get it done on my stupid timeline of having it 100% by the SSSS and they build some bad ass machines. We have built some awesome iconic machines together from the BLACK MAMBA to King Ranch.

I will keep you all posted as best I can. I plan to keep it blue and silver like the factory but change the scheme up and integrate it into different parts of the machine.

First upgrade is the new GRANT Steering Wheel which is a suede race style wheel w/ blue stitching and blue center stripe. It also came with Grant's billet quick disconnect and Polaris column spline. Its light weight and looks awesome. Its the same diameter as the factory wheel which I like.

Well we made some progress and are ready for the Sand Sports Super Show where you can see our new build in the SDR Motorsports booth!! I can't thank Tim and his team at SDR enough!!



The build is a 2016 RZR XP Turbo. I wanted it to be a lightweight dune machine. I absolutely loved my 2014 XP1000 that Magnum had built. It was the best driving UTV I have ever known. I can't wait to rip this thing this season!



For suspension we are running SDRs new Hi-Bred +3 long travel kit with all new Walker Evans Racing Velocity Series shocks!! This is probably the lightest LT suspension combo on the market! While it does not increase travel, stability is enhanced. We powder coated all suspension blue to match the build. The kit also uses Summers Brothers Axles.

The wrap was done by Andrew at ProLineWraps. He wraps almost all of our vehicles and never disappoints. I give him my vision and he brings it to life adding in his own artistic flair.

The RZR uses Rigid Industries 30" RDS top light bar, 10" SR bar on bumper and will have a new set of front and rear replacement headlights and tai lights from Heretic Industries.

Whips are by WhipTech LED and they also provided our full RGB scale under-glow lighting system.



Our new Grant suede steering wheel with matching blue accents looks sick in this ride. We are running a GlazzKraft dash with the all new RacePak RZR dash!

We still have some stuff to add but if you look closely you can see our new PCI Bluetooth intercom and race radio in the doubled in area. We have to have out Coms! We also have PCI race air system in this machine!



While many of the parts on this machine are new to the sport, our new Aventador exhaust by BattleBorn Engineering is definitely an eye catcher. Robby Woods designed this new system for our Turbo and will go into production with these soon. Contact SDR for information!

We are running 15 Method Race Wheels Beadlocks with new 30" GMZ Sand Stripper tires.

Some of the other features are New Twisted Stitch Vortex seats with 3x3" harnesses, Axia Alloys mirrors, custom SDR switches, SDR front bumper, grill and their all new Hi-Bred doors!! Overall SDR fully smashed this build like they always do. I love working with them, they are on time and on point. I can't thank them enough!

The Battle Born Engineering #Aventador exhaust is fully hand built out of stainless steel and does weigh around 10lbs less than the stock muffler. It sounds pretty rad too.

Yes. Just like many of the kits like the CEM aka Jagged X kit. It uses factory length shocks but improves shock motion ratio.

It was pretty nice. We ran into some issues with it first time out. There was a material defect so we had to replace it. We will run the new design on another vehicle. We replaced it with a Muzzys system and its awesome as usual.
