Update on best UTV tire

So what is the best all around tire for the rec rider these days? I see GBC Motorsports/SXSP is developing one but I guess due to lack of report is still developing it. I hear Big Horns and Bajax are popular. Whats better?

Can't go wrong with a set of the original Big Horns.....!

I think I remember hearing there is a knock-off version of the Big Horn you can get cheaper, anyone had any experience with them?

Also, think I heard some run LT's which one and how do they hold up?

Pit Bull Tires are also awesome meats! Lots of companies have copied the original Big Horn - GBC, DWT, GMZ, SuperATV, etc etc. Seems like everyone has a version of the MAXXIS Big Horn these days.

moapa are the knock off of big horns. my personal opinion is the viper give you one of the best side bites for cornering, big horns wash out to easy. but i have not tried the tires corry or rj anderson run.

Just ordered a set of these for Mammoth. Looking to do some drifting on the fireroads up there.

I used to run 26" Baja Cross on my Rhino, and they were terrible in the soft/loose stuff. They wore great though, two seasons and hardly any wear. Now on my XP I'm running 27" Bighorn Originals, and I love them so far...

You know...:D it tells you something when other tire brands are knocking off another....Maxxis Bighorns are the best!

I have to say, BH OGs are still my favorite too. Been through 3 sets of them, a set of Bajacross, a set of Ceros, and 2 sets of BH 2.0s.

Bighorns are still the best!

I had Bighorns worst tire I had one flat after another. Don't how well they last. I threw them out with less then a 1000 miles on them. Way to many holes in them to keep plugged.
I switched to the ITP Bajacross tires and have 800 miles -+ on them and no flats. IMO the BH are better in mud the BC are better in the rocks.

Re: Update on best UTV tire not tusk!!!

so i got the tusk 6 ply atv tire for my rhino. they look just like the big horns and spent 300 for all four tires thought that was a way good deal. first trip out i blow out a side wall going down a trail i have been on many times before. thought to my self maybe hit a re bar or something... so i went and got other one for 78 bucks... so now i am into it 378!!! go out with some buddys riding up in the mountain and have been out for about a hour or so and blow other side wall!!!!! so i call up the dealer and ask what is wrong with these tires!!! all he could say it is the way i am riding... lol i dont ride like a grandpa but i have a good time so i went ahead and got one more 78!!!! pissed as all hell that i have went through two side wall in two trips out... so the last time i went out i was driving like a grandpa and taking it easy. going down the same trail i was when it blow out on the sec time. let me back up here the trail is a little rock not bad but is a trail that is rode alot. was going up it slow as hell i blow out a side wall again...!!!! so all and all you pay for what you get... i well never buy another tusk tire again... those tires are for atv only and they sale them to everyone and are made cheap... so just save the money and good with some name brand tires. i sold them off to a guy with a atv and he loves them for what he put them on.
