No bs, I was dining 78 through the woods with my dad in the passenger seat who weighs over 200.
I'm not saying the tune in it is perfect because it's not be dyno tuned. But what I am saying is that the tune from Evo is bad fast

And mega I'm running the same clutch as you.

Who did you buy it from & what was the cost?

Evo flashed mine and put a tune in for my mods. The cost was $589 I think. Mr rpm does em for $500 and you tell him what mods you have and he'll adjust accordingly. The flash alone with out add in timing or fuel is worth it alone

Did you need to retune your clutch?

I haven't yet. I just got some doing a lot if to stuff to it. So I wanted to make sure all the bugs were worked out of the things I changed before tackling another task

What rpm were you hitting at that speed? That is a huge gain in top speed.

Did you do runs with your mods before the reflash?

I was more talking about the harmonics at that constant rpm and speed. I remember Reid talking about it and his STM was tearing itself apart due to harminics of constant speed.

Very impressive number from just tuning. Looks like i will have to stop by there and get mine done before dune season.

I highly recommend it.
Didn't Reid have the aluminum spider in though? And how does the STM not come apart at the speeds that the snowmobiles run?

I was at 8500 rpms and I didn't do any speed runs with the mods because I knew I was limited to 8000 rpms and I knew I was limited to speed as well

i believe Reid had the steel spider. But the issue was with the bolts that hold the weights on.

do the sleds reach 8500 rpm?

I'm not familiar enough with sleds to know if they do or not. Just the pedal response and the shaft saver being gone is worth the money alone.
Have you started on your rear diff relocation yet?

That is really not much of a RPM increase to can that kinda of speed. I guess taking off the speed limiter and allowing full throttle up really helps.

My XP hits 8750 and I have only been able to get it to 78. I guess the speed limiter must cut back the throttle on the XP, like on the Maverick.

Don't forget the intake, exhaust, fuel mapping, and ignition changes

Well there are those mods too.

How come the desert race Maverick's are not seeing those type of speeds? Doesn't Can Am's race box do the same thing as your reflash?
