The Negatives...?

I was wondering what the problems or negatives of your UTV are...? Post your problems with stock parts or with aftermarket parts you bought.

STOCK YAMAHA FUEL FILTER & EXHAUST ON THE 660. THE FUEL FILTERS PLUG CONSTANTLY. CHANGED TO AFTERMARKET FILTERS. NO MORE PROBLEMS. MY EXHAUST KEPT LEAKING. FINALLY GOT IT WELDED UP WHERE IT DOESN'T LEAK ANYMORE.

neither was an issue on my rhino.

XP9 needs a little shock tuning.

I have a 2006 yamaha 660 rhino and these were the issues I had when it was new. Put a muzzy exhaust system on and change the filter frequently and I have been good ever since.
I went with LongTravel suspension and broke 1 front driver side spindle and 1 steering rack on a race track not bad since 2006!

Shattered the gears on my teryx because the center post wasn't mounted to the engine so they flexed differently and caused it to jump out of gear. Have since welded in some braces and have not had an issue other than I just don't get to ride it enough.

The only thing that really sucks is, no E-brake on the rzr4. Try getting it in gear after putting it in park on a slight incline.........ass clincher

I am going to step way out of the norm, here.
My biggest complaint, with all the UTV's...is the lack of a manual transmission
I am aware of the costs involved, and the advantages of the tricked out belt drives...but the bottom line is that I like to shift gears myself.

many places sell parking brake kits for the rzr's, get on rzr forums and look, pretty cheap too, no electric to deal with. BTW way you can make your own from PVC, notch it to fit on brake pedal and upper tilt mechanismm push brake instal PVC tube, instant parking brake.

as good as this place is, if you have a rzr, way more info is on rzrF. many vendors on here may sell them, but most never post up anything :(
Vendors need to be more involved on here.
