This weekend at round 11 & 12 of the 2011 LOORRS Race series, Team driver Hans Waage came out swinging. Hans in the #623 Car put his experience and skill to the test against a very talented field of Unlimited UTV racers, running on the full length track with both Unlimited & SR1 UTV’s.
Arizona showed it’s not quite ready for summer to be over with daytime temps reaching over 100 degrees putting both car and driver to the test. Hans found some heat issues with his car overheating by the end of the race and this issue would end up fallowing him around all weekend, causing him to back down the intensity. Combine this with slick track conditions and you have got your work cut out for you.
Hans was able to overcome the difficult conditions and run a great race. Hans ended up fighting his way to a 3<SUP>rd</SUP> place finish both days and putting his Dragonfire sponsored car atop the podium both days. On behalf of Dragonfire Racing we would like to say congratulations to Hans Waage for running a great race.
