short course tire preferences?

i was thinking of a more square rear tire like the quad guys run. i have 26" holeshots ATR's on now and they are rounded on the top. i have 12" x 8" wide OMF billet center wheels. my car is clutched for 26" tires but 25" tires i can run with some clutch adjustments. i only run on watered down mx tracks.

so the questions are:

25" or 26"

bighorns,4-speed, mtr, holeshots,or?

Id use a 7 paddle hualer. 36" tire 22" wheel. :D
Holeshots work great for most of our races. 25" until you get the RZR a 800CC. Then you can step up to the 26".

26" Maxxis 4 speeds. wider in the back

We are thinking about 10s all the way around right now. The 8s up front dont touch but 4 or 5 inches on the ground. I think we are gonna try 10s up front at M4SX next weekend...

Tried the new ITP Holeshot SxS out today on the race Teryx.

Front - 25x9x12 - 18.8 lbs.
Rear - 25x11x12 - 21.6 lbs.
The tire compound is very soft and the knobbies are siped. 6 ply bias construction.

Big thanks to Paul over at Hart's Rhino Motorsports for driving while I snapped a few shots.

OMF billet center wheels - 12x5 3+2 on the front and 12x8 5+3 on the rear

I am pretty sure the tires are available now from ITP.

Legendary ATV track and trail performance is now available for side-by-side UTVs! The all-new Holeshot SxS is designed to be the ultimate short-course UTV racing tire. Super strong 6-ply bias construction helps the UTV track straight and sure under acceleration and braking. Siped (thinly cut) knobs provide more biting edges for exceptional traction and balanced cornering. Unlike many other tires now being used for UTV competition, the Holeshot SxS steers easily, rides smooth and is very light in weight! Now available in two sizes: 25x9-12, 25x11-12.

I will be there with racing Flying banana Rhino, you can check out the tires, if they are good enough for Todd Arthur then I would say they work.

also, make sure you measure your total width up front with thte 10's on, 72"
