RTD (rough tough and dangerous) build

2008 Polaris RZR. 1 mile on the odo and tore it apart. all work done in my garage. by me and a couple of friends.

a arm tab ripped off the frame. it was only welded by popo halfway

custom fuelcell plate for stock sending unit.

time for a tab and gussett kit from LSR

now for some upper shock tower support. who needs a swaybar anyways.

an HPD agressive clutch kit to get out of the hole faster.

front bumper and mud guards installed

results from a double front flip crash at practice. broken motormount at case, wrinkled roof panel, broken tierod.

I remember this build. I had to point out the crooked bar you had and reweld it for you. Ok Ok not really everyone but I did watch Mike build it all himself and was very impressed. Besides the fact he is a cool dude and will help most guys at the drop of a hat!

added some 7" cecker hid and one 6" led lights

relocated the voltage regulator

added a little more airflow to the regulator

ended up first place in points for mod class at the 2008 Speedworld Quadcross series

new years at Glamis was rough. blew the outer cv's comming back from Gordons well ride. they were smoking and toast. had to be pulled back 5 miles to camp.

a couple of dune trips and now time to get ready for the 09 racing season.

and now for some needed frame strengthening. cut out crossmembers and replaced with a little heavier tubing.

now this is how she sits today. waiting on some replacement bolts that were worn and some new piston rings. hope to have most of it together this weekend.

just give them the check book and let them run wild. it helped me to have a little girl who loves girly stuff and the wife and her are involved in 3 dance classes, swim class, cooking classes, after school electives, going to plays, scrapbooking.......... busy girls. and thats keeps them busy and off my ass and my racing budget running low at all times.
