RJ Anderson's RZR XP900 Race Car Build **UTVUnderground Exclusive**

are you doing the old car because you rolled the new xp or was it cheaper to transfer frame and just use drive train from new xp. Iam sure many rzr s guys are wondering wat this will cost.

This car has nothing to do with the crashed XP, which has been fixed and is currently at the king of the hammers. My old race car was bent from a crash last year and had to be fixed. With me having to race the XP this year anyways, this was the easiest and most cost effective way of doing it.

As far as going from a RZR S to RZR XP, I believe it can be done, but will require a complete rear end swap, driveline, etc. from someone like Holz or XMF..

Haa, danny danny danny....

I guess its a good thing I have the best of both worlds! But thanks for the reminder, I've been meaning to email Rob;)

no problem little buddy!!! it will be nice to see you guys back up front, after last season of breaking everything...

I here you on the cost you would have to give your race rzrs away anyways i was just wondering on the rear transplant i think thats were you get the extra length. you should post what it would cost to transplant rear of car i beat you will get some hits on it.

Great thread! Lots of speculation on what is going on here, but I can guarantee you that they are not 'putting a XP900 engine in a RZR S.' So here is my educated guess: they have a new stock XP900 frame. They have a crashed RZR S cage/frame. They have complete XP 900 running gear (front diff/hilliard, prop shafts, engine, rear gear case, etc). They will use the upper cage, tin, seats, fuel cell, etc from the old car and graft it onto the stock lower frame...which will obviously accomodate the new engine and drive line. Voila...new XP900 race car.

They showed the XP frame down to frame rails and then they just put the outer shell of the old cage on the new frame.

Just figured you would want to push your seat back as far as you could, with how tall your ass is already... Didnt think you would be able to take advantage of that if you used your old chassis/cage

this just in...i have the plans for the whole rebuild.

the word is that they are putting a rocket engine in there!!!

It will be good to see RJ contending for the lead again every race.

Good luck.

From there it will head back to Walker Evans Racing where the final build process will take place! Stay tuned!!!

The XP is finally back under the Walker Evans Racing roof! Im getting excited to get this thing out on the track:D
