I just sold my 2006 rhino 660se. I'm looking for more power, just wondering if yamaha has any thing up there sleeve. Don't want to wait for ever, I'm thinking about getting the teryk. Any info is good.

THE 2011 IS STILL JUST A 700 EFI WITH WHITE PLASTICS & FENDER FLARES. LOTS OF RUMORS ABOUT A BIGGER ENGINE & A 4 SEATER. SO FAR JUST THAT. RUMORS.

Only thing with performance right outta the box is the Commander and the Rzr XP.
Yamaha is still the dark horse in all this.

I'm quite surprised Yamaha has never introduced a sport model SxS,, but who knows?
The YFZ 450 suddenly appeared a the dealers with no warning.
Maybe one day a Yami UTV steamer will too.
I'd defiantly be interested.

A new Yamaha is on the horizon, probably under a different name (not a Rhino). At least thats the current speculation.

Also should see a 4 seat Kawi and Commander soon.

If you want something now, I would do the XP 900 if you only need 2 seats.

according to "my sources" I would not expect to see ANY new Yamaha UTV's until the very last law suit is complete. And I was told through a reliable source that Yamaha still has atleast 2 yeas of lawsuits still on the table.

As for 4 seat frame options form other manufacturers....we will have to wait and see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2012 should be a fun model year!

I would by a RZR-S waaay before a teryx.

but if you want bada$$ then get the RZR XP900 :D

I think the Teryx is a great machine to build off of. Of course the Rzr XP 900 is the best performance out of the box. If I was to buy a new UTV for sport riding I would buy either the XP or a Rzr 4.
