What is wrong with this picture?

Too many people having a good time and the Government not getting a piece of the action! That is why it had to stop! Look not one picture of a Ranger! Not one "I am in charge" guy telling people they need Helmets, can't ride double, can't go there, can't have fun, because you could hurt yourself or those grains of SAND! How did we let this happen? Well people are sheep and the left lies and we keep buying the lies! We need to challenge every candidate and VOTE! We need to more political NOT less!

Its the bleed'n heart do gooders that have ruined it for everyone. There are 3 tree huggers for everyone of us offroaders. and about half of them are closet tree huggers. This is a bad topic for me all it does is make me see red

How bout some from El Mirage in 1978...long before the government effed it up... I had to use my 1969 440 Roadrunner to haul our bikes...6mpg, I sure miss that car!!

GREAT PIX. I LOVE THE ROADRUNNER. THAT IS MY FAVORITE CAR OF ALL TIME. I USED TO HAUL MY HONDA SL 350 TO SUPERSTITION WITH MY 1971 DUSTER 340.

Yep, I was there! I think that was my first off road race to attend. I was working at Goldstone by Ft. Irwin. Lived in Yermo and Barstow that year. I think that's when my friend Dave Girdner finally made me come watch a race and I was hooked! He was an iron man and always ran class 11. I told him he was nuts! That's when you ran the hill that's now behind the outlet center. I loved watching folks come off the top of that!

Wow, I hear ya! This is my '69. No 440, but a bad ass 383 magnum. Thing was a 727 torqueflite with 3.23's in the rear, headers and a mild cam with a B&M Stall converter and would burn, not screech, rubber in all three forward gears. I ate up a ton of bow-ties with this thing!

Pismo was great back in the day. Crowded but no problem with rangers unless you decided to use the beach as a drag strip. Which my dad and his friends did on occassion with the jeeps and then sandrails.
