New SXS

I'm going to be in the market for a four seat SXS in the next 6-12 months. I'm just wondering what you guys would suggest. I live in SoCal, so most my time will be spent in desert terrain but I will also make a couple trips a year to Glamis. Thanks in advance.

The Teryx4 has a great platform, good price, great frame, and comfortable and spacious seating. But lacks some power. RZRXP4 has good power and great for sand, but has a 2 pieces frame. Parts are easily avail amongst camps. RZR4 is very similar but minus the HP and different suspension. Artic cat and Can Am I am unsure about. Some things to consider would be how often the rear seats would be used? How often would you visit the dunes? What type of performance are you wanting and in what terrain? They are all great machines in different ways, so don't get discouraged. Good luck and welcome!

If you consider the Arctic Cat, which I wouldn't write off, keep in mind that it's a long machine. Not that that's a problem for riding , but it will need to be kept in mind for toy hauler plans should that be in your crystal ball. The Maverick is awesome and from what I understand is second only to the Wild Cat X in the suspension dept., the power on the Mav. is phenomenal. The RZR is good in many respects and guys that have the Kawasaki love them. Consider your terrain, if you're going to be running around where the whoops are bad suspension would be my first consideration and everything else secondary. A good dealer is VERY important, you can buy the best machine on the market but if the dealer support sucks you're not going to happy.

Thank you for the quick responses. Suspension is going to be an important part of my descision because there are a lot of whoop sections in Parker and Glamis, where I go. The length of the rig isn't a problem, I have a 3705 Gearbox. The two rigs I've been researching are the RZRXP 900 4 and the Wildcat 1000 4. I haven't heard of the Can-Am 4-seater yet. Is it out yet?

I would seriously consider wildcat 4. It is long but that doesnt seem like a problem for you. I have only seen videos of wildcat 4 but it looks so stable through woops and has the new clutch that is in the X model.

I like the size of a T4 but it looks like definitely need long travel. I have yet to ride in one offroad. I am thinking of going in this direction.

The xp4 is a great machine too but the rear seats are smallest of the three models. I think it's best combo of power and suspension.

Can am 4 seater is coming in july.

The Can Am should be released in June. If it is like the two seater it will haul the mail and have a ton of power with decent suspension.

It looks like it will be almost as long as the wildcat 4.

The wildcat 4 will not be as fast but if you ride in opens desert with a lot of whoops or in the sand it is a blast to drive.

They way the manufactures are releasing new machines you may have more choices in 6 months.

We are building wildcat 4 cages now, this is the first one .
