OK I HAVE FEW QUESTIONS, HOPEFULLY SOMEONE CAN HELP, WENT OUT TO THE TRACK AT PALA THE OTHER DAY AND MY MOTOR BEGAN TO POP, THE ONLY THING THAT WAS DIFFERENT FROM THE TIME BEFORE IS THAT I PUT A FILTER KIT ON IT, I CHECKED THE FUEL FILTER AND IT WAS GOOD. MY QUESTION IS WILL JUST PUTTING A FILTER KIT ON THE MACHINE CAUSE IT TO GO LEAN OR SHOULD I BE LOOKING AT SOMETHING ELSE? POSSIBLY THE VALUES, ( THE THINGS IS IT STARTS RIGHT UP, SO I'M NOT SURE) ANY HELP WILL DO.

how long has the filter been on try cleaning it and just to try put your 08 air box back on if not call chris at benchmark performance

it would apear that it is lean on top. go up two jet sizes on the main and run again. say from a 155 to 160-162.5 or so as an example. generally they will goin 2.5 increments, but not always.

You running lid on or lid off?

Teryx's LOVE more fuel. And it doesn't take very much to make them run lean. Depending on the intake kit, it can go very lean with just that. We've got Muzzy dual's and a filter kit that let's us remove the air box lid, and we're running 190 & 195 jets.

Bob, I am running with my lid on, but I did change from an 08 box to a 09 box to put the filter kit on. the box's are the same but the lids are alittle different.

add some more fuel to that puppy , up the jetting what did your plugs look like shannon ?

Schannon - My filter setup is lid on, TPI valves and I'm running a 138 front and 140 rear (dynojet numbers)...these are giving me ~12 on the A/F gauge, so a little rich. Use this as a reference:
