The backbone of off-road racing is not competition, it’s family. Especially desert racing. One team that exemplifies the family mantra is the Lenk family. Known as Missing Lenk Motorsports, the Lenks race with family and friends both in the desert and short course. Dale Lenk was first brought to the desert by his father Don. Now the family boasts three generations of off-road racers. Dale Lenk and his wife Julie both race with their kids; Grant, Brent, Blake and Carly. The team fields a Class 1 car in the SCORE series, and two trophy carts in the LOORS short course series. Their team consists of family, friends, and neighbors all volunteering their time to come be a part of the team.
United by a common passion for off-road racing and a healthy competitive desire to win, Missing Lenk Motorsports is threat to win at any race they compete in. They field their vehicles out of a super clean and well organized shop in Costa Mesa, CA. So if you are looking for a great team to sponsor or great team to volunteer and learn how to chase in the desert, give Dale a call.
