Yes, they allow fires. It needs to be in a pit or ring and put out with water each evening

How about washer tubs? They allow that so Cisco can cook on them???

Yes that's what we used last time, Rich brought his along I have a few bundles of wood I will bring

So far the weather is looking awesome, 77 for a high and 60 for the low.

I emailed the ranger and here is his response about the camp fire situation. BTW, Chuchupate campground is up the road but does not have ATV access to the trails and can only accomodate tent camping and VERY small trailers:

David, As of this week, the Los Padres National Forest has gone to Level 2 fire restrictions. Wood and/or charcoal fires can only be used in a campfire use area.
You would need to camp at Chuchupate campground and use the metal ring provided.
