It can be done and if you are worried about the road from the 15 frwy you can come in from hespierea (Dan & Chris es back yard) Then you don't have take MOHO thru the twisty road and play it safe and I know I spelled hespierea wrong but I think you guys are used to that now LOLO-ya well have a little BBQ after the ride hot dogs and stuff all are welcome , well git a list going soon .
Anyone have a map of how to come down thru this area ;-)

Just take it slow and you'll be fine. What time are you planning on heading up Frank? I normally get up there around 8am and traffic on the 138 is light. As a matter of fact, on the last trip I did'nt even seee another car on my way through the curves. But you know better than us, you're the one driving the Monster MoHo Take the route that you are most comfortable with

I would think the same way you went to the rattle snake canyon trip last year. The time your planing to come up would be rush hour on the turns and to have to stop on one of the up hill turn because of traffic coming the other way would just be a nightmare , just saying.

I looked at this on google satellite view and zoom in to street view. It doesn't look that bad. No worse than coming down from Ranchita to Borrego Springs.
I'd run it in my rig.

IT IS PRETTY NARROW & WINDY. LUCKILY YOU ARE ONLY ON 138 FOR LESS THAN 20 MILES. I AM LEARY OF TAKING MY RIG. ON COMING TRAFFIC WOULD BE THE PROBLEM. WHEN WE PULLED CHARLIE'S 20' FLATBED IT WAS PRETTY SKETCHY.
It just has a section with a few very, very tight, tight up / down curves and very, very narrow roads
I have done it with an F-250 pulling a 24’ Toy Box thru but it you have to go very, very slow<O
