Retired - And Still UTVUNderground Approved!!!!
Well, its time for the longest drive of the LOORRS season so I will cronicle our trip just to pass the time. Hope you enjoy it.

The plan the same as last year, leave 1.5 weeks early, drop trailer at Miller Motorsports Park, and head to Montana to see mom and ride some of the best moto trails Ive ever been on.

Wednsday, today noon we leave. Why noon? Codys buddy that is tagging along had one last final today so we waited for him.

Next we stop in the 951 to pick up some LOORRS stuff for Ken

Then in Hesperia I notice a tire on the trailer starting to seperate, 40 minutes & $120 later, Discount has us on the road with a replacement.
40 minutes from Baker we suffer a blow out. Were pulling into Baker as I type, its after 7 I cant wait to see what this is going to co$t.

Now I would have had more pics here but my wifes Windows phone glitches on P-Bucket and my new blackberry just plain sucks to use so the rest we'll take with Codys iphone so more pics later.

Tires $320
Fuel $285 (so far)
Sleeping in the middle of 20 trucks parked at a rest stop, priceless! Memories.

BTW, while the "Old people" sleep inside with the ac on the real men sleep outside.

Next stop, MMP! Pics of the track facility/track to come by about noon.

SORRY FOR YOUR TROUBLES DOUG. KEEP UP THE REPORTING. I LOVE YOUR ADVENTURES. GOOD LUCK IN THE RACES CODE. BRING BACK 2 MORE TROPHIES.

Glad your excited to get to Miller, I was there over Memorial day weekend announcing World superbike and AMA road racing, The LOORS track was laid out but lots to be done still, the weather had slowed progress. I have been watching the weather down there and it looks like they have had some great sunny days to get the track done. I left my camper down at the track and will be rolling in Thursdy night.
The people at Miller were pumped up about last years race and cant wait for the series to come back. Hope to meet some of the UTV guys down there this year.

Come by & introduce yourself Todd would love to meet you & get you a race shirt. Shane & Danny are leaving with the rig on Wednesday next week while the family & I are flying in on Thursday. Safe trips to all that travels!

Ohhh yaaay!!! I love reading your stuff, Doug!! Hope the rest of your trip is on budget - that tire stuff sucks!!

See you guys in Utah!! We will be there Thursday, barring any of the same adventures you guys had - lol!

PS - The MMSP staff are some of the nicest people I have ever met - we love going to Utah, even if the drive is long! :)

I was going 70 on the 2 lane back road going to Miller when this guy and his two piolet cars PASSED us like we were doing 20!

What caught my attention (other than at one point he was about 1" from my mirror) was the company name, Central Arizona Escort Services

the grandstands were relocated from different parts of the track courtesy of Aaron Daughtry.

The track is shaping up nicely, nothing like new construction. The infield pits that are along the front straight are very cool.

I BS'd with Aaron more than I took photos and they (MMP) are seriously commiting to short course, w/o going into detail lots of interesting plans for this track in the very near future.

AWESOME. I dont doubt it Doug, Everything they do is top notch, Thats a 112 acre $100 million facility. I spent 3 years road racing there. The staff have always been great. Its so cool to see them commiting to short course this way. love it.

Looking across from turn one look at how tall the back table top is? Sorry for the blurry photo, guess I flinched.
This track looks big, its going to be fast fast.
