As usual, Racedezert has a live audio feed of BITD's "race logistics" 2 way radio channel, and race by race graphical updates with about a 15 minute delay.

POINTS SHAKEUP! Heading into this weekend, Sims had 276pts., Murray -8, Jones - 15, Burnett -17, Schueler -24. After this mornings race, its Sims at 332, Burnett -7, Murray -12, Scheuler -21, and Jones -27.
Most notable improvement of the day in the turbo class has to be Burnett, moving up from 17 points back in 4th, to only 7 points behind in 2nd. While in the "Cognito" class, Lambert extended his lead over 2nd place in points from a comfy 48 points, to a whopping 91 points, and where Pollard, Smith, and Burroughs previously occupied positions 7-9, they now hold positions 2, 4, and 3 respectively. Shit will change real fast if any of the aforementioned drivers dnf their 2nd race.

Badass Johnny. 20th truck off the line, and finished lap 1 in 5th position, only 1 minute off the lead truck of Smiley. The 1st and 2nd place overall points leaders are not racing this event, so Johnny stands a good chance of leaving this weekend in the top 3 in points. BAMOFO!

Currently,Johnny is averaging less than 1 mph faster than Marcs winning average speed this morning! Can someone tell me how a 2 cylinder utility vehicle with a stock frame, limited suspension, and 300% less horsepower, nearly match the pace of a virtually unlimited, purpose-built, high end race truck?

He just went by the pits and finished the lap he was on

Guthrie, Burnett, and Sims dicing within 18 seconds. Carver just passed Sims for 3rd. Branden needs to at least finish 3rd to get out of here with the points lead, or shared if Marc wins again today, which will happen barring equipment failure.

Leaders thru rm 15 on lap 3. Lap 2 report has Marc 17 seconds behind leader, but i believe marc started with a carry over time advantage....STRIKE THAT! Marc just broke an axle.

If Marc plays it smart, he can limp the car around until he is passed by the leader (currently Guthrie @ rm 7}, at which point all subsequent fishers will be credited with a grand prix finish upon passing the S/F line. Needs finishing points.
