Wow from a outside perspective the ruling by Casey is something you might not expect but I can also see why he wanted to get any cars close to cross the finish line. I would guess this will come up before each pre race meeting and get covered at that point from here on out.

It would of been close maybe a little over 2:30. Like I said our goal is to always do what we can to Finish. We maintained contact with Bitd and they gave us the green light to go ahead. I counted 7 other racers who finished over 2:30 and they all revived finishing points. Hey I understand your frustration I had a similar situation last year in Henderson that knocked me from 2nd overall on the season to third. Sometimes you have to live with the official decision.

I am in..... but 1911 took 3rd. I Was a dnf again we just want to finish I forgot to get in the drawing

They start in the back with the sportsman, but I don't know how they determine the order
Perhaps I need to change to sportsman then. The only reason to pay the pro fee if I am the only one is to get up closer to the front and out of the dust. I was under the impression that all pro class entries got entered in the start drawing. Oh well, sportsman is cheaper for a shake down race on a new car.

So are you thinking your DSR1 is going to be back together? We are planning on coming down Thursday to check it out and spectate, I would love to check it out.

yep both "straw choppers " as you call them will be there i am taking my entry to casey today

Primm, Whiskey Pete's.I was speaking with Casey Folks today about class 3000 and mentioned that my DSR1 pro entry was not included in the pro calss drawing. He said it was because the DSR1 class starts first, then the Pro, and sportsman last.
Looks like my start number is ZERO!. Now I know how to buy the opportunity to go first. Build a DSR1 car, pay the added $200 even though the best you can do is get part of your money back, and go for it.

If the DSR1 is not done I will still be in the pro class, but you don't have anything to worry about. I have a tendency to run really fast till I let my brother drive and he wrecks my car. Looking forward to meeting you too. Glad to hear you got your shocks dialed in. How do you like them?
