Yamaha Help a Ninja out....

Ok guys changed my oil, cleaned my filters, changed my fuel filter....started the rhino and it ran good for a coupla min. then it died, started it again it died pulled choke it started then died....wont start at all now.
Could it be....
1. the fuel filter is wrong size for the hoses? air's gettin in at the connections?(I zip tyed em but maybe???)
2. fuel pump? just replaced it at end of summer night runs...?
3.????

Any sug. guys ...help a ninja out

prime the carb bowl with gas, get running and it should be OK.

when changing filters, especially if you put a larger one on, it will take forever to prime again.

If it was already running for several minutes after the change then it died wouldnt it have primed itself already...just went out and watched the lines from the pump and no gas going thru them...fuel pump right???

Got it...it was the pump.

I always washed mine and it would be just fine. Either that or the metafarkel pump. Just my .02
