DAKAR 2014 - UTV's

Robby re-routed some fuel lines which some have said went back to the set up he had last year on the H3, plus he put some additive in the fuel. In an interview he speculated that it might be ethanol in the fuel that is causing the vapor locking.

Rito, I would guess that someone will eventually try to run with a full windshield, but from what I have found out it will likely have to be glass not lexan due to static electricity and scratching. But it was 105 deg F on Sunday's stage 1, and I can't imagine how hot you would get with no air flow. Maybe you would need a Parker Pumper for your fire suit like an astronaut. maybe full ac compartment or full ac suits alot of miles in rain/heat to be in the elements.
 
Polaris came out with RZR XP1000 Dakar LE model just before this years rally. Pretty cool! It is just added accessories and graphics, but it is cool that the OEM is getting behind Dakar.

(......................no it is not available in the US). Doh! :cool:
