Thank you to everyone that prayed and sent messages on my dad's heart attacks. Ronnie messaged me, asking how he is doing and I figured I better come on and give a quick update on him.
He's doing better, he's out of the hospital now, on blood thinners and carries glycerin pills. He's had a couple more mild pains in his chest but the doc says those are to be expected. He also has to wear a heart monitor and go in to the cardiac care unit each day, but that should be finishing up this week.
The arteries that pass down the front of the heart, then branch into smaller capillaries that pass under the heart and go to the backside had several clogs in the small capillaries. Too small to put in stents and because of my dad's age (78), they didn't want to do bypass surgery except as a last resort. So they are treating with the thinners and that seems to be doing the job.
I'm keeping fairly close to him since he can't do anything very physical for the first couple of weeks. It really killed me not to be able to go to King Of The Hammers, I had been building my Prowler for a year now, hoping to make it, but, there is no way I'm going to chance being away from him when he might need me. KOH will be there next year...
